Lough Dan Scout Centre’s mission is to be a support to local scout groups. Please feel free to use Lough Dan as the start or end point for your regular hikes on a day visit basis. With secure parking and the use of the toilet facilities it is the perfect place to start your hike and feel free to use our outdoor camp kitchen and picnic tables to have a well deserved barbeque at the end of your hike. If your walk coincides with a busy weekend at the centre and the car park is full there is always extra parking space in the over flow car park located in the Jamboree field.

Pitch and get out…If you are camping at Lough Dan for just the weekend keep your site simple, pitch your tent, grab a picnic table and a metal altar fire and get out into Wild Wicklow. Right from the gate there are several fantastic easy day hikes. Laminated maps and route cards are available from the office  for the most popular hikes including;
